How to bring humour and relief to moments of untimely coughing?

  • the brand

    Broncoliber is a cough medicine that has been on the Portuguese market for over 40 years, with 6 types of products to combat productive cough and dry cough.

  • the challenge

    The brand wanted to highlight Broncoliber as a solution for cough relief at the most inconvenient moments and needed a creative campaign that would be memorable compared to traditional medicine advertisements.

  • the story

    The campaign, with the motto "The Sponsor of Silence," explored moments where a cough needs to be silenced urgently, with a touch of humour.

Four video spots were developed, two of which had specific objectives: one for television format and another as a sequence for viewers who had already watched one of the videos, reinforcing the message.

Each video illustrates moments when a cough is not at all welcome and requires the urgent intervention of a "Sponsor of Silence." For example, when we are enjoying a concert, when we need tranquillity to read in the library, when we are meditating in a yoga class, or even when we are studying "alone".

Physical pieces were also developed, such as leaflets, window displays for pharmacies, and street advertisements (mupis).

In the digital environment, we developed websites, banners, audio ads for streaming platforms (like Spotify), and search and display campaigns.

This comprehensive approach allowed Broncoliber to successfully use humour to highlight the effectiveness of its medicine, connecting with the target audience in a creative way.
