    Fundação Cupertino de Miranda is a prominent cultural institution, known for its Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Portuguese Centre for Surrealism, and a vast programme of events. Its commitment to art and culture has made it a meeting point for artists, academics, and the general public, both in Vila Nova de Famalicão and beyond.

    The challenge was to create a new website that would represent the Foundation's diversity—its museum, its programme, its bookstore, and its congress centre. It was crucial to develop a digital platform that was not only informative but also offered a seamless user experience, especially in the online store purchasing process, which needed to be efficient and hassle-free.

    We developed a new website for Fundação Cupertino de Miranda using the Umbraco platform, with a special focus on user experience and e-commerce functionality. The platform was designed to be a portal that merges the Foundation's cultural richness with digital practicality, allowing visitors to explore exhibitions, learn about the collection, and easily purchase publications, graphic works, and merchandise.

The new digital platform was conceived as an extension of the Foundation's physical space. Visitors can now navigate a virtual gallery, explore the different spaces, and discover more about the Portuguese Centre for Surrealism. The integrated online store functionality allows for the purchase of over 1000 publications, graphic works, and merchandise, simplifying the process of acquiring the foundation's materials.
